The loot is better than the first level of Howling Crypts on Normal difficulty, but it's easier for other players to spot you and move towards you, so it's recommended you play with a full team and choose a more mobile class. The Ruins of Forgotten Castle is an outdoor map where there is no 2nd level, only escape portals.The enemy mobs are significantly more challenging than in the Howling Crypts.
